Hey there, human! I’m Dexter, and I’m all about the love.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who’ll insist on being your personal lap dog (even though I’m way bigger than most lap dogs), then look no further. I’m smart as a whip and know a few key commands like "stay," "go to bed," and "gentle" (I’m still perfecting my other tricks... like turning myself into a professional couch potato).

I love zoomies, rummaging through my toy chest (no promises that I’ll put them back though!), and don’t even get me started on water. You could say I’m pretty “shore” about it (get it, shore?). And chicken? Oh boy, I’ll be your cluckin’ best friend for life.

When I’m left alone at home, I’ll probably be caught up on the news, listening to the radio, or just doing what I do best—napping on the couch like a true professional. I’m pretty chill and can handle being on my own for 4-5 hours. I’m cool with busy places too, so if you're an inner-city dweller, we might be a perfect match—as long as there’s a little patch of grass nearby for my toilet breaks.

I’m good with other big dogs during walks and I even had a couple of housemates in the past, but I think I’d prefer to be your one and only. After all, I’m a one-in-a-million kinda guy! I’m loyal, friendly, and I’ve got looks that’ll make heads turn when we go for walks (I mean, who can resist a handsome greyhound like me?).

Now, I won’t suggarcoat it—I’ve had a bit of a rough start to pet life, but I’m tough! I had a little setback when I fell during a race, but my resilience and love of life have brought me right back to being my happy, wiggly self. I’m still learning to conquer stairs indoors (it’s a mystery to me), but when it’s outside? I’m as speedy as they come. I’ve got a heart full of love to share with someone who understands that.
I’m ready to find someone who’ll understand my past, cherish my quirks, and give me the love I deserve. So, if you’re looking for a goofy, lovable, and occasionally clumsy dog who just wants to be your best friend, I’m your guy!
