Agra is an adolescent mix of bouncy, curious, affectionate and social. He’s still learning what it’s like to have a loving interactive home with positive attention, but he’s quickly learning there are personal benefits from it.

While he can be excitable, Agra is keen to please his people and has been responsive to guidance and instruction. He easily learnt how to use a doggy door and that outside is where you go to the toilet, and he also understands both sit and stay.

Agra walks really well on a body-harness lead, with no signs of over-reactiveness towards fellow dogs. Given time and guidance, he’d be a great on-lead exercise buddy based on his high levels of energy.

He’s very social with other dogs (currently living with three others), but his enthusiasm can get a bit much for the older smaller ones. He plays really well with his younger furry housemate who also likes to rough and tumble.

Agra has a great appetite and loves chewing bones and sticks. He hasn’t chewed anything that he shouldn’t when left home alone. He’s actually pretty independent for a young guy, sometimes choosing to play and sleep outside when he doesn’t have to. Although not crate-trained, he will happily go in one to have some bone-chewing ‘me time’.

With plenty of loving attention and further training while he matures, Agra will make a great family addition.
