About Jupiter
Meet our beautiful boy Jupiter!
With his gorgeous tiger brindle coat & electric eyes, this stunning boy is looking for a kind & caring home to welcome him in.
Having not had the best start to life, Jupiter spent the first few months of his life stuck in a back yard with his brother. He did not get the chance to go for walks or explore life on the outside - things which are crucial to having a well-socialised, confident dog. Jupiter is, only now, discovering how the human world works & it can, at times, feel overwhelming & a little scary.
Jupiter is a guy who, once he knows & trusts you, will fall madly in love with you! He will be the most loyal & bestest friend you have ever had. When he sees his favourite people, his eyes fill with love & happiness & all he wants is to spend time with you.
When he does have to be alone, he settles well in his pen & he keeps his space pretty tidy. He is also enjoying off-site walks on his harness & is learning to walks really nicely as he discovers the outside world.
Jupiter really enjoys treats & is ready for some positive reinforcement training. Bear in mind, he received no guidance or training when young & so starting from scratch will be what's required here. And don't forget: behaviours which get reinforced get repeated. So, reward all the good things he does & he'll soon be doing them again & again! Consistency, repetition & patience are vital when it comes to teaching our dogs.
Jupiter is quite a bouncy boy which is due to excitement, his age & a need for reassurance. Practicing & rewarding 4 feet on the floor is a good alternative to jumping up.
Jupiter is looking for someone willing to give him the time, patience, understanding & love he needs to build up his confidence, find his feet & thrive. You will, in turn, find the love of your life, the dog of your dreams! Come & meet our beautiful Jupiter today.
