About Salem - 2 year old male (On Trial)
Salem has come a long way in such a short time, transforming from a cautious and suspicious lad to a playful and affectionate companion. Once the king of hiding spots (under the futon, in the wardrobe, or wherever his rescued buddy decided), he now confidently struts around the house and even graces the bed with his presence some nights.
This sleek, charming boy is curious and playful, happily chasing cat toys and occasionally shadowing you around the house. He has a knack for adventure, like racing up the stairs to the rumpus room or exploring the pool area—but don’t worry, he’s always close and bolts back inside when you call his name.
Salem is a social observer who loves to watch TV from the shelf or investigate your mobile phone with fascination. He’s calm and friendly when settled on the bed with his foster home's two wolfhound crosses, though he’s still figuring out the best dynamic with other pets. While he’s okay with one of the dogs, he might do best as an only cat—or with the right feline companion to suit his personality.
The standout photo? Salem and his buddy Siouxsie Sioux watching the door while Lenny the wolfhound strolls in—a perfect snapshot of his life in his foster home.
If you’re looking for a loyal, quirky companion who will follow you around and add a sprinkle of mystery and fun to your days, Salem is your guy. Give this adventurous sweetheart the forever home he’s been waiting for!
Salem is in foster care in Rankin Park, NSW. His adoption fee is $150, which includes vaccinations, microchipping and desexing.
