About Shooshko (ShiShi)
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Shi Shi is a stunning, affectionate boy with a gentle, loving personality. He adores being around people and is always ready for snuggles and head scratches. While he hasn’t gotten along well with our other cats, he thrives in a home where he can be the center of attention and connect deeply with his human companions. He’s not picky about food and has a healthy appetite, enjoying all sorts of meals.
He was well loved by his previous owner but sadly they become unwell and could no longer give him the love that he deserved. Good friends of theirs offered to take him in but unfortunately he did not get on well with their other pets so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find him a new home.
He is currently living in a foster home with other cats and by all reports the slow and gradual introductions are going well, so anything is possible. He is certainly loving the attention from his new foster family.
Shi Shi is a sweet and affectionate companion with a big personality. He is a true lap cat that loves and pat and a scratch and likes nothing better than to curl up beside you. He especially loves to cuddle at bedtime and will make sure you're never lonely as you fall asleep.
Shi Shi absolutely loves people and once he gets to know you he will follow you from room to room to keep an eye on you and make sure that he is part of whatever you are doing. This little gentleman has so much unconditional love to give it's not even fair.
Shishi has a bit of sensitivity around his tummy and prefers not to be touched there, so we need to be careful when picking him up and respecting this boundary helps him feel safe.
He would do really well in a quiet household with loving people where he could be the center of attention. A retiree or homebody would be a great perfect fit.
If you're looking for an insanely affectionate and super loving companion then Shi Shi is the cat for you.
Shi Shi has a bit of sensitivity around his tummy and prefers not to be touched there, so respecting his boundaries helps him feel safe.
Shi Shi is approximately 6 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
