About Millie
WAIT - I AM IN HORSHAM RURAL VICTORIA. YOU NEED TO TRAVEL TO MEET ME.
Meet Millie, an adorable kelpie and Labrador mix brimming with curiosity and a zest for life. At just 13 weeks old, Millie is already showing off her distinct mix of traits with a slender, active build reminiscent of her kelpie lineage and the unmistakable Labrador love for all things food-related. Her charming quirk of picking up every morsel, including those that venture beyond her food bowl, is not only endearing but also quite entertaining!
Millie is currently in a foster home where she thrives alongside an adult small dog, a cat, and children—proving her versatility and social nature. She's learned to sit and wait patiently for her meals—a testament to her quick learning abilities. This playful pup relishes big play sessions, belly rubs, and snuggling up with her humans for relaxation and security. Millie is semi-toilet trained and with further guidance, she's sure to master it in no time.
Looking for an energetic family with a zest for the outdoors? Millie might be your ideal match! Her intelligence and enthusiasm make her a fantastic candidate for continued training, harnessing her brain power in engaging and fulfilling ways. She already knows how to sit, stay, and lay down, making her both a clever and obedient companion.
Millie has been well-cared for and is in great health, having been flea and worm treated, vaccinated (she'll need one more booster), desexed, and microchipped. With a dog like Millie, not only will you have an adventurous sidekick, but you'll also add a dose of joy and energy to your family life. If you're ready to take Millie into your heart and home, don't hesitate to contact Carolyn for more details.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
