About Penny - 4 year old Staffy x Boxer
Meet Penny: Your New Best Friend for Life!
Penny is a 5-year-old Staffy X Boxer with a heart as big as her personality! This sweet girl is the perfect combination of fun, affection, and loyalty, and she's ready to find her forever family.
With her love for cuddles, enthusiasm for play, and an unwavering devotion to her humans, Penny is the kind of dog that makes every day brighter.
What Penny’s All About:
• Cuddle Champion: Penny is a cuddle-o-holic through and through! She’ll happily curl up next to you for long, lazy naps or snuggle up for a cozy evening on the couch.
• Ball Lover & Tug-of-War Pro: Penny is a true enthusiast when it comes to all things ball-related. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a tug-of-war session, she’s always ready for action.
• Loyal & Loving: Penny thrives on human companionship and would love a home where she’s the centre of attention. She’d be happiest with someone around more often than not to keep her company.
• Super Smart: Penny is quick to learn and eager to please. She already knows how to sit, shake paws, and lie down, especially when there’s a tasty treat involved!
• Explorer at Heart: Penny loves outdoor adventures, especially when they involve a good sniffing session. She enjoys exploring open spaces and would love a large yard with 6ft fences where she can roam safely.
• Gentle & Social: Penny is a sweet, well-mannered girl who would do best in a home with older children (7+). While she can be excited around new humans, she’s a quick learner and enjoys meeting new friends with proper introductions. Penny is unsure of other dogs and would rather sniff and walk by.
What Penny Needs in Her Forever Home:
• A home where she can get plenty of attention (as an only dog), love, and playtime, and live inside.
• An owner (aka new best friend) who can work with the vet ongoing to manage her anxiety medication as needed, hopefully coming off once she is fully settled in her forever home.
• A secure yard with 6ft fences for her outdoor explorations.
• Ongoing training and socialisation to help her build confidence with other dogs and stay well-behaved on walks.
• A warm, comfy spot for bedtime (preferably near her humans!) – Penny sleeps soundly through the night, and is fully toilet trained.
Why Penny is the Perfect Companion:
Penny is the definition of a loyal best friend. She’s loving, playful, and ready to bring joy into the right home. With her gentle nature, she’s perfect for a family with children over 7 years old and would thrive with someone who is home more often and ready for regular adventures. Penny’s enthusiasm for life and her devotion to her humans make her the ideal addition to any family looking for a dog that will love them unconditionally.
Are you ready to meet Penny and see if she’s the one for you? She’s waiting to shower you with all the love and cuddles you’ve been looking for!
Penny is in care at Umina Beach, NSW, and is available for adoption within NSW. Penny's adoption fee is $200, and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
