About Betty Boop
Meet Betty Boop. This little lady may have big eyes, a button nose, and a careful coiffure just like her namesake, but she actually gained her title for her habit of 'boop'ing heads with those she loves.
Betty is a two-year-old medium hair puss who came to us as a stray. She can be a little shy when first getting to know you, but once you've earned her trust she will lavish you with affection (purrs galore), attention (she's very chatty) and of course, head boops. Betty loves a calm, quiet environment (when things get noisy she tends to look for a nook to retreat to), and would suit a single owner or small family with older kids. She has an easy going nature and is friendly with other cats, but untested with dogs.
One only needs to have eyes to see that Betty is a looker: a stunning, fluffy ball of snowy white perfection. But with beauty comes sacrifice, and in Betty's case it's your furniture and clothing that will pay the price (she's a shedder, folks). Fortunately, she loves being groomed, so a daily brush helps to keep things under control. Betty also has a bit of an unusual hair cut at the moment (think: poodle) as her beautiful coat became very matted during her time as a stray, and had to be clipped for her comfort. Luckily, her bad hair day won't last too long.
Like all white cats, Betty is sensitive to UV exposure and because of this, she needs to be a fully indoor pet. Her ears have some sun damage at the moment from her life on-the-run, but they are healing nicely since being rescued.
Betty is great at using her litter box and is a good eater. She loves wet food, and is fussy with dry food when served by itself, but will eat it when the two are mixed together.
If think you have the perfect home for Betty, we’d love to hear from you.
