About Skylar
This sweet little girl is Skylar, a Domestic Short Hair born 22nd September 2024.
Skylar has unfortunately been surrendered to the facility as her owner has become homeless. She is now on the lookout for her new forever family!
Skylar is incredibly playful and loves every toy you put near her. We normally try to say their favourite toy, but she's loved everything from soft balls, springs, ball towers, feather wants, ribbon wands, a curved scratching pad, stuffed toys and more.
Her photos were taken while playing with a wand toy, which is why she has her "huntress eyes" on.
While she can be a little shy when you first meet her, she warms up to you very quickly and is very affectionate & sweet. When she's in her enclosure she rubs herself along the netting trying to get to you, then rubs herself all over you whenever she can.
Skylar has previously lived with another cat and is currently housed with two other kittens. She would be suitable to live with other cats or to be the spoilt "only child" in the home.
Skylar will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Skylar is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Skylar, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $300 & this includes her desexing, first vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Skylar is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
