About Bob, the greyhound
If you are interested in Bronte, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Bob is a fun and affectionate boy whose little Bob tail is most endearing! It wags so fast and it’s very cute!
He has bonded well with his foster carers and is very people focused. He enjoys strokes and pats and he nudges you with his snout if you stop touching him, as if to encourage you to carry on showing him affection!
He walks very well on a leash, no pulling or staining and he’s happy to meet people who pass by. He’s non reactive to other dogs too! He is a happy and confident dog who would suit city life or a quieter suburb - the “where” is not important to him because it’s the “who” that he will love!
Bobby has been very sociable and playful with his foster brother, a fellow greyhound and he adores the children (age 8 and 13) in the family, intentionally seeking them out for cuddles and strokes.
He enjoys playing with toys and likes to search through the toy basket for particular favourites. And there’s been zero resource guarding of food, toys or beds.
There has also been no sleep startle.
After a couple of initial toilet accidents inside, Bob is now toilet trained and barks at the door when he wants to go outside to the garden to do his business. He was a very quick learner!
There are two active and squeaky Guinea pigs in his foster home and Bob has shown no interest in them whatsoever - he’s a very good boy to be so tolerant of such small pets.
All in all, Bob is friendly, affectionate and easy going.
He will make an excellent pet for anyone who is fortunate enough to adopt him - he’ll be a very faithful furry friend!
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
