A little shy at first, this little feathery soul will reward you with her gentle affection. Once settled and familiar with her new home, she will sit with you and tap you with her paw for more pats and a neck scratch. How adorable is that?

Like many cats, laps are not her thing, but she will loyally adopt you as her family, relaxing beside you or sleeping on your bed like any cat who knows when and where they are loved.

Birdie has been happily living with other cats, but we believe she would be happiest as your only friend or with another gentle, relaxed cat unbothered with more feline company. She has also been living with an Irish Wolf hound, so may be ok with a cat-friendly dog. Birdie carries FIV, a cat-only virus relatively common in cats. She will live a long and healthy life if well cared for. Please ask about FIV when you apply.
