Amaia is a gorgeous 2-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff cross who has already come such a long way on her journey. When she first came into care, she was a very anxious girl who found the world quite overwhelming. Thanks to patience, love, and gentle guidance, Amaia has made incredible progress and continues to grow in confidence every day.

She can still be a little unsure in new situations or around unfamiliar people, but with reassurance and a calm environment, her sweet personality really begins to shine. It's been wonderful watching her slowly realise that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

Amaia is looking for a patient family who understands that confidence takes time to build. She doesn't need perfection—she just needs someone willing to continue showing her kindness, consistency, and love. In return, you'll have the privilege of watching her truly blossom into the amazing dog we know she's capable of becoming.

This beautiful girl has already overcome so much, and we know her best days are still ahead of her. All she needs now is a forever family willing to give her the chance she deserves.
