Melaleuca is a Border Collie x Kelpie mix, and though he has endured a lot, he’s come out on the other side healthy, happy, and more loving than ever. Having fought his way through parvo—a serious illness that only the strongest survive—Melaleuca is now cleared by the vet and ready to find his people.

At heart, Melaleuca is a gentle soul. He’s not the kind of dog to jump all over you; instead, he waits patiently with those warm eyes that say, “I’m here for you.” He’s calm and laid-back, especially for a Border Collie mix, yet he loves being part of the family action, whether that’s hanging out on the couch, playing, or just sitting by your side as you work. Melaleuca’s love for his humans is deep and sweet—he’ll nudge his head into your hand for a reassuring scratch or rest his chin on your knee, reminding you he’s there, grateful for every moment with you.

Melaleuca is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. He’s kind and polite, fitting in beautifully with all kinds of families.
