Macey is a beautiful, fluffy 1-year-old cat with a sweet, affectionate personality and a love for both play and relaxation. Her long, soft coat and gentle nature make her an absolute joy to have around. Macey is not only friendly with other cats, but she also enjoys the company of respectful dogs and adores children, making her an ideal addition to a family home.
Personality
Macey is a social and loving cat who is always up for some playtime, but she’s equally content snuggling up on a cozy bed (especially if it’s a child’s bed!). She’s affectionate, curious, and loves being around her family. Macey is known for her gentle temperament and calm demeanor, which make her a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a sweet cat to cuddle and spend time with.
Social & Friendly
Macey is very cat-friendly and would do well in a home with other cats. She enjoys their company and is happy to share her space and her toys. She's also completely fine with respectful dogs and has shown that she can coexist peacefully with them. Whether you have other cats, a calm dog, or both, Macey will fit right in!
Her love for children is one of her standout traits—Macey adores spending time with kids and will happily sleep on their bed, making her a perfect pet for a family environment. She’s gentle enough to be handled by young ones, though, like all cats, she would appreciate respectful interaction.
Health & Care
Macey is a healthy young adult cat with no known medical issues. She enjoys being groomed (which is easy with her gorgeous long fur!) and will benefit from regular brushing to keep her coat looking its best. Like all cats, she needs a balanced diet, fresh water, and regular playtime to keep her happy and healthy.

Other Cats: Macey is a social butterfly and would do best in a home with other cats. She loves having feline friends to play with and snuggle.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
