Dear little Penelope has been through a lot in her short life, but nothing has stopped her from being a loving, gentle, and happy little kitty. Abandoned as a tiny baby, she was lovingly raised by her foster mum, and now Penelope is ready to find her forever home where she can continue to thrive and be cherished.

Health & Care
Penelope had a bit of a rough start in life with a previous battle with cat flu, but she’s a resilient little cat and has bounced back beautifully. She does have a small ongoing issue with one of her tear ducts, which occasionally causes her eye to become a bit irritated. This can be easily managed with a gentle wipe, but it doesn’t affect her otherwise. Aside from this minor issue, she is a healthy and happy kitty who loves to snuggle, play, and explore her surroundings.

Personality
Penelope is a little sweetheart who loves to be around people and other animals. Despite her rough start, she’s grown into a calm and affectionate cat with a heart full of love. She adores belly rubs and will purr happily when you give her all the attention she craves. Pen is content to be carried around like a baby, and the young child in her current foster home has already formed a special bond with her, making Penelope an excellent companion for families with kids.

Social & Friendly
Penelope would do best in a home with another cat for companionship, as she enjoys the company of her feline friends. She’s also completely fine with dogs—she’s unbothered by them and happily shares her space with them. Her calm demeanor and easygoing nature make her a perfect addition to a multi-pet household.
