Introducing the sweetest girl, Flick 😍

Flick arrived in care a teeny tiny sick little pup but as you can see from her photos with lots of TLC, including good quality puppy food, pats and tummy rubs she has thrived 🥰

Flick has commenced her training and knows to sit for food and has learnt very quickly that if she wants pats and cuddles she is not to jump on her people 🩷 she thoroughly enjoys her walks now and is doing quite well on lead. She can become a little distracted by birds, other dogs and is cautious and unsure of items with wheels ie. Scooters, motorised carts, bikes. She is also learning how to walk nicely when her doggy friends come along for a walk too (one of the photos shows her walking with her friends)

Flick travels well in the car although does need a little encouragement still to hop in. Once she is in, she is well behaved. She would love to go on regular outings to explore new places.

Flick has been keeping company with the resident dogs and learning proper play etiquette from them but is frequently left in the yard by herself.

She has also met cats and is very excitable with them but not nasty. Flick would need guidance and training if you have a cat 🐈 She is still an excitable pup at only 6 months so you should expect some crazy behaviour at times.

Flick is accustomed to being at home while her carer works but does have the company of dogs and after a good play lazes around in the sun and catches a nap.

Flick enjoys water play but she has not ventured into the shell pool to swim or lay. She will happily play games with the hose or a water pistol to keep cool.

She would love a friend in her new home but this is not a dealer breaker because with the right training and attention she will be a very loyal friend to you.

Flick is fine with dog savvy kids and loves to play fetch and be part of any game the kids are playing.

Flick currently sleeps outside and is well behaved overnight sleeping in her crate - usually left open - but on occassion she happily sleeps with it closed as well.
