About Oakley
Meet Oakley, the lively Parsons Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart full of energy and a spirit that's absolutely infectious! Oakley is the definition of bouncy and loves nothing more than to let loose, chase toys, and have a good scratch in the grass. He's treat-motivated and eager to learn, which makes him a dream to train-he's already mastered "sit" and listens well to his handlers, even on walks when he gets a bit fast or strong.
Oakley is fearless with people, always ready to jump up to say hello and bask in a few pats. While he's a social butterfly with humans, he would thrive in a home without small animals, as his playful nature makes him eager to chase anything that moves. He may do well with another small or easygoing dog if introduced gradually, and he could be a lovely companion for children who understand when it's time to give him space.
Though he's an independent little guy, Oakley prefers to have his family nearby. A home with people who are often around or working part-time would be ideal, as he can become anxious if left alone for too long. With a family that can provide him with continued training and plenty of playtime, Oakley will be an endlessly loyal, joyful, and spirited addition to your home.
