We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Hazel sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

If you've ever dreamed of taking a cat for a walk, Hazel’s ready to make that dream come true!
Hazel is a playful, cheeky, and incredibly intelligent cat who thrives on human company. She’ll happily engage in an impromptu parkour session with her favourite fishing rod toy or curl up on your chest for some cozy snuggles. Independent yet friendly, she’s got a fun-loving spirit but also knows when it's time for some well-deserved rest.
Food is Hazel’s ultimate motivator—though she might also turn into a sneaky scavenger if you’re not careful! She loves a good snack, but keep an eye on your plate, as this clever girl has a knack for finding treats you didn’t intend to share. She prefers to reign as the solo pet in her castle, so no other animals, please—Hazel’s a queen who doesn’t like to share the spotlight!
Affectionate in her own way, Hazel has a charming habit of rubbing her face against yours, purring contently during belly rubs, and even lounging on your shoulders like a little parrot. She’ll approach when she’s ready for love and reward you with all the cuddles you can handle.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
