Meet Bruce, a charming 4-year-old mini fox terrier with a shy yet endearing personality. Bruce may be small in stature, weighing in at just 6 kilograms, but he makes up for it with his unique personality. While initially he can come across as a touch reserved, once he warms up to you, you'll discover his true affectionate nature. His loyalty shines through, and he thrives in an environment where he can develop a deep bond with his human companions.
Bruce is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, ensuring he's more than ready for his new family. While his compatibility with cats remains untested, he is certainly friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company. Due to his shy demeanor, he would do best in a household with children over the age of eight who can appreciate his gentle nature and respect his boundaries.
Bruce needs a home with a secure fence to ensure he can explore with confidence and safety. He is still learning to walk on the lead probably . His ideal setting involves a loving family who understands his initial hesitance and is willing to nurture his trust with patience and love. Bruce is ready to be part of your life, promising a loyal and affectionate partnership once he's settled into his new home! With an adoption fee of $495, Bruce is eagerly anticipating meeting his new family and beginning the next chapter of his life.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
