Independent & Low Maintenance: Penelope enjoys her alone time but loves curling up nearby when she’s feeling social. She’s the ideal cat for someone who values a bit of space but still wants the company of a sweet, quiet feline.
Shy, But Loving: While Penelope can be a little shy around new people, she warms up quickly with a bit of patience. She prefers calm environments and doesn't do well with large groups of visitors.
Kid-Friendly: She’s good with children aged 6 and up, making her a great choice for a family that understands her need for quiet and space.
No Other Pets, Please: Penelope has always been the only pet in the household and isn’t fond of other cats or dogs. She would do best in a home where she’s the sole animal.

This is an assisted rehoming. Penelope's current owner has had a change in circumstances and we are assisting them with this adoption. Adoption fees will be a donation to our rescue, so we can do similar projects in the future.
Please email your interest for a particular animal through to us, telling us a little about you and your family. Don't forget to include the name of the animal.
We will reply to your email (don't forget to check your spam/junk folder) as soon as possible. Please remember we are all volunteers, so it can take a few days to receive a response.
We have a non-negotiable meet and greet policy, which would require you, (and your family, along with any other doggy family members if applicable), to come to Franklin to meet the dog/s.
