Meet Loyal!

Intially in shelter Loyal presented as underconfident and has been in shelter for some time gaining confidence with people. He is now very comfortable in the areas he knows and is slowly building his confidence in new environments and walking on lead is still challenging for him (except in areas/routes he is very familiar with). He displays signs of being underconfident with most things and can be worried about things that are new to him; he can also be a little worried of handling once he is comfortable becomes tactile and affectionate.

He will need a patient home willing to teach him all the things a pup needs while also understanding and navigating his fears. He is likely going to be a different dog outside of the shelter environment and would benefit from a good role model canine (pending meet and greet) to help build his confidence. This gorgeous boy will also thrive in an adult and older teen home.
