About Ed Sheeran
Meet Ed Sheeran, a delightful ginger kitten who is as curious as he is vocal. With a soft, fluffy coat and mesmerizing amber eyes, Ed Sheeran is a charming little fellow who will instantly wrap himself around your heart. And let's not forget his signature big purr that sounds just like a steam train chugging along—it's something you'll look forward to hearing each day.
This spirited kitten's world revolves around food, and he's always eager for a game of chase, whether it's with a laser pointer, a fellow cat, or the occasional fly. Though shy and timid initially, Ed Sheeran's interactions with humans have steadily improved under his foster care. He's become braver and enjoys playtime in the same room as his human companions, often exploring and observing the world from a cozy window sill. While he may still be nervous about being picked up for long, once you catch him for a cuddle, he’ll reward you with the sound of delightful purrs and soft nuzzles.
Ed Sheeran would fit beautifully in a patient home, preferably with older children who understand his need for space and time. He thrives in the company of other cats—he loves to follow his feline friends around like a devoted little shadow. While we're not sure how he feels about dogs, the right introduction might open the door to a new friendship. His ideal family will be one willing to give him the time he needs to fully blossom into the confident and affectionate companion he is destined to be. If you’re ready to welcome a bundle of energy and love into your home, Ed Sheeran is eagerly waiting to meet you!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
