About Zen
🐾 Zen: The Calming Companion Waiting for You! 🐾
📍 Location: Woollahra, Sydney
Meet Zen, a charming and gentle cat who embodies calm and relaxation. He thrives in a peaceful environment where he can enjoy quiet moments and plenty of cuddles. Zen loves curling up beside you at night, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loving, laid-back friend to share their life with.
His carers are absolutely in love with him, out of the all of the cats they have fostered, he has been their Number 1 pick :)
THEY LOVE that 💕with Zen
- that you can leave your home and when you are back everything is still perfect.
- he is a true lap cat, just give him space and he’ll come when he’s ready.
- he loves napping, especially in sunny spots.
- he is big fan of long, cozy naps (basically a nap pro!)
- loves sleeping close to you.
- he loves his wet food, that is what he eats!

Medical notes
Medical History: Zen is FIV-positive, but don’t let that deter you! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not a death sentence – with proper care, FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, and healthy lives. They thrive in a calm, indoor environment with regular vet visits and a good diet. FIV is not contagious to humans or other pets (except other cats through deep bite wounds), and with the right care, this cat will be a loving companion for years to come. If you're looking for a gentle, low-maintenance friend who just needs a little extra TLC, this cat could be the perfect match for you! Be sure to do your homework, people can be scared of what they don't know and FIV is something not to be afraid of. He is an amazing cat and the family that adopts him will be lucky to have him.

Adoption details
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house, and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups, and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat-proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you peace of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about the expense.
We start by emailing you either our adoption questionnaire or the online link to it. We like to have a chat on the phone to obtain some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. We also request a video tour of your home with an emphasis on safety features including screens, windows, and balconies. We also like to see where your new kitty will eat and sleep. Once the online form has been completed, the next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the kitty at his or her foster home.
Sometimes if everything has been approved and the adoption agreement has been signed, our kitties can be taken home from the meet and greet. Otherwise, once everything is in order, arrangements are made for you to collect your kitty. All adoptions are subject to a two-week settling-in period. All kitties are fully vetted and lifetime registered and all necessary information is provided.
