About Lexi
Lexi is a sweet and affectionate 4-year-old German Shepherd who has already mastered the art of loyalty and companionship. She is calm and composed, yet still playful and full of love. This beautiful girl is highly intelligent and will thrive in a home where she can use her sharp mind-whether it's through training, puzzle toys, or bonding with her family.
What Lexi Needs:
Patient Owners: Lexi is looking for a family that can be patient with her as she settles into her new home. She's naturally well-mannered, but like any dog, she needs time to adjust.
Older Kids: Lexi is good with children, but her calm nature means she'd do best in a home with older kids who understand how to interact gently with dogs.
Other Dogs: Lexi gets along well with most other dogs, making her a great fit for a multi-pet household. Her friendly nature means she's always happy to make new friends! You're other dog will be calm and tolerant and willing to educate an excitable young dog.
Why You'll Love Lexi:
She is loyal to her family and loves to be near her humans.
She's incredibly smart and responds well to positive reinforcement training.
Calm yet playful-Luna enjoys the occasional walk or play session, but is just as content curling up beside you.
If you're looking for a loving, patient, and intelligent companion to add to your family, Luna might be the perfect fit. She's ready to offer you a lifetime of loyalty and companionship.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
