About Bruce
š¾ Hi there, Iām Bruce! š¾
Itās been 426 days since I arrived at BARC. Thatās a long time, isnāt it? Iāve watched lots of my friends find their families ā tails wagging as they go off to their forever homes. Iām so happy for them⦠but I canāt help wondering when it will be my turn.
Iām a 2-year-old Staffy cross, full of love, loyalty, and a little bit of goofy charm. Everyone here says Iām the most tolerable, gentle boy ā the kind who just wants to make people smile. I love humans of all ages and other dogs too. Honestly, I just love having company!
Iāve been learning lots while Iāve been here. I can sit, Iām good at feet placement, and Iām learning how to lie down. I walk really nicely on the lead too ā no pulling, just happy trotting alongside you. Iām also good in a crate, especially when itās cozy and full of treats.
The staff here tell me Iām so smart, and they all adore me (I think the feelingās mutual š¶). They say Iād make the perfect family companion ā loyal, cuddly, and always ready for a new adventure or a nap on the couch.
Thereās just one little thing I need help with: when I get bored or lonely, I can jump really high fences. I donāt mean to cause trouble ā I just miss being near my people. So, Iāll need a family who can keep me inside, or on a long lead or in a crate outside when theyāre not home. I promise, if you keep me safe, Iāll give you all the love in the world in return.
All I really want is a home ā somewhere warm, where I can finally unpack my heart and never have to wonder where I belong again.
Love,
Bruce š¾
Your future best friend š
