About Milly
Millie is an affectionate, sweet almost 9 year-old senior Labrador mix who's ready to find her forever home. With her calm demeanor and loving personality, Millie would make the perfect companion for a family looking for a laid-back, loyal pet. While she's not a fan of cats, she does love being around other dogs and would thrive in a home where she can have a doggy friend to keep her company.
What Millie Needs:
A home with another dog to keep her company and help her feel secure. Millie enjoys socializing with other dogs and would be happiest in a multi-dog household.
A family with older children who can respect her space and understand the gentle nature of a senior dog.
A calm, loving environment where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. Millie is ready to spend her days lounging on the couch, going for short walks, and receiving all the belly rubs she can get!
Millie may be a senior, but she still has so much love to give. She's well-mannered, social, and affectionate, and she's just looking for a cozy spot to call home. If you're looking for a laid-back dog who will be a loyal companion, Millie might be the perfect fit for your family.
If you're interested in adopting Millie, please reach out to BARC.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
