About Maria
Meet the lovely Maria!
When Maria first came into our care, it was obvious that she had very recently had a litter of pups, and had been battling with severely inflamed and infected ears for quite some time.
Understandably, she was a bit worried about the new environment she found herself in, and all the new people that came along with it.
Maria can be vocal towards unfamiliar people, but only in certain situations. She does well in public places, though we do think she will be unsure of people she doesn't know coming into the home.
Once she decides that you are her friend, she is a very sweet girl who likes to be close to you. Her favourite pastimes are playing fetch with a nice tennis ball, and cozying up with her human.
Maria will need a quiet, adult only home and would benefit from having a well-socialized dog to keep her company. An owner who has experience owning shepherds in the past would be ideal.
Since her ears were left untreated for so long, Maria will be prone to chronic ear infections and will likely require weekly ear drops to help prevent them from reoccurring.
If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please give us a call on 9722 1265 to make an appointment.
