Through no fault of her own, Lily is looking for a new home, and she’s more than ready to share her love with you.
Lily is a sweet, cuddly lap cat who loves to spend time with her humans. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or working from home, she’s happiest when she’s near you. Once she's had her daily playtime—fetching her favourite ball or chasing after toys—Lily is ready to curl up in your lap or rest beside you for some well-deserved snuggles. Her affectionate nature means she’ll be the purrfect companion for anyone who loves to cuddle.
Ideal Home:
Lily would be thrilled to share her love with an individual, couple, or family who have plenty of time to give her attention and affection. She’s content to nap and keep herself entertained when you’re out, but nothing beats curling up with her favorite people when you’re home. A home with a few fun toys (cardboard is her favorite!) and the occasional creamy treat would be an added bonus!
Energy Level:
While Lily enjoys a burst of energy in the mornings and evenings—running around, fetching toys, and exploring—she’s also a master of relaxation. After her active periods, she loves to spend the day napping in a cozy spot, preferably on your lap or in your general orbit. Suitability to Children:

Lily has been living happily with a young lab and gets along well with dogs. She has not lived with another cat before but with a careful introduction she may adjust to having a feline friend.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
