About Roxi
Beautiful and very sweet Toy Poodle Roxi
Now seeks her forever family to love
Roxi is the happiest, easiest to care for most loving and happy little girl you could ever meet.
This amazing girl will quickly become the love of your life. Roxi is sweet, lovable and extremely well mannered. She will greet you with her front paws on your leg, a wag of her tail and a beautiful smile. Roxi is a wee little Apricot Toy poodle who will make a beautiful little Family or companion dog for a very lucky family.
Roxi is an inside dog chilling on the couch snuggling with her head resting in her hoomans lap and being close to her hoomans. She gets involved with movie nights to the point she runs to the tv and jumps up and down with excitement. She also enjoys the outdoors exploring her surroundings. When she meets another dog out for a walk she gets excited and hops up on her back legs and jumps with excitement. Roxi enjoys a good gentle brush. She is fully toilet trained and has a certain spot in the backyard she likes to use. Roxi enjoys a certain spot to lay and relax in the garden enjoying the warmer weather. Roxi as long as she has her favorite hoomans around she is very happy. She likes to sleep on a dog bed in her favorite hoomans room at nights and will often decide to sleep on her hoomans bed and will sleep through until morning around 6:30-7am.
Roxi loves her hoomans and will follow her favorite hooman around and will often sit by the toilet or bathroom door patiently waiting for her favorite hooman. At times she may give a little bark if she hears movement coming from the front of the house to let you know someone is there. . When visitors come to the home Roxi is very excited to greet them with a big smile and a wag of her tail and jump around excitedly. Roxi is very chilled and relaxed in her environment. Roxi will seek out a gentle pat from visitors and especially loves when shown attention. Roxi will stay close by and want to be a part of the fun
Roxi enjoys daily walks and walks extremely well on the lead. She gets excited when she sees her lead being picked up and will walk straight to the door as if to say C'mon I’m ready let’s go Roxi enjoys going for her walks. She walks well on the lead and will stop to smell her surroundings and enjoy her time out and about. If she sees another dog she gets excited and will continue on her merry way
When in the car Roxi settles well and often drifts off to sleep. She is good at traveling in the car.
Roxi has been in a foster home with cats but has not given chase in fact she enjoys giving them a lick and laying down with them best buds so if you have a dog savvy cat in the home this would be suitable for her. We have had other dogs in the home but she really shows no interest in engaging with them preferring to hang with the hoomans so she is probably best suited as an only child.
Medical
Roxi came in to us with terrible skin infections including her ears, We have worked hard with the vet and these are all now cleared and she is going well. We have her on a single protein diet and she has regular as needed Cytopoint injections to keep the allergies under control which has worked really well for her. We are also bathing her weekly in Malaseb shampoo to assist with her skin staying in good shape and she loves a bath and brush very much.
When left home alone Roxi will usually keep herself entertained snuggling with her favorite toy or sleeping awaiting her hoomans return. When her hooman comes home she greets them with a wag of her tail and a little dance and a great big smile.
Sleeping
Roxi has her dog bed although enjoys sleeping on her favorite hoomans bed and when in her dog bed she has snuggly toys I also enjoy sleeping on the couch. At bedtime Roxi sleeps happily until the next morning.
Inside the home
Roxi is very chilled and relaxed. She enjoys laying on her dog bed or snuggled up on the couch next to her favorite hooman. Wherever her favorite hooman walks inside the home Roxi will happily follow . She is fully toilet trained and will walk up to the back door to let you know she needs to go outside to the toilet. She enjoys it when her hooman goes out into the yard with her.
