About Koda
Meet Koda, an energetic, clever and typically cheeky young Jack Russell Terrier who is ready to bring endless joy and entertainment to his new family. He was born on 29 December 2023 and currently weighs 6.8 kgs.
This spirited pup is living happily with his devoted foster mum and the resident Foxy, who’s now Koda’s best mate and cuddle buddy. Check out the cute photo of them both.
A typical Jack, Koda’s zest for life is infectious. He has captured the hearts of all who’ve met him, including our dog groomer, Fran, who says he’s “just lovely”.
He loves to play chase, especially with other dogs, and he's learning the ropes of good behaviour with impressive recall progress. He’s house-trained and very rarely blots his copybook.
Koda enjoys a good cuddle and loves engaging with people, including young children. At the dog park recently, he participated in vigorous and good-natured play with a delighted pre-schooler.
His adventurous spirit means he’s not just a pet but a potential partner in his family’s weekend pursuits.
He has a good appetite, but prefers kibble for sensitive tummies and a regular juicy bone to chew on.
Being a Jack Russell, Koda has a fearless streak that makes him an excellent little guard dog. He'll alert his family to potential intruders but will otherwise focus on his duties as a loyal companion rather than on barking.
With Koda, boredom simply isn't an option. His family will need to show him love, companionship, and provide an outlet for his energy and intelligence.
Secure fencing is a must as a Jack Russell’s instinctive digging skills and knack for escape artistry are part of their charming, although mischievous, nature.
If you're seeking a dynamic and loving canine companion who will grow alongside your family and bring hilarity and love into your home, Koda might just be the perfect fit!
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is a compatible canine companion for Koda.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Koda was desexed on 23 October 2024.
