About Panda (64437)
Meet Panda, a sweet 1-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for her forever home! Surrendered through no fault of her own, she's eager to learn and build confidence with an experienced owner. Panda has done wonderfully in dog assessments and may thrive with a well-matched male companion, but she's not suited for homes with cats or pocket pets. She could be a great fit for families with calm, respectful children. While she can pull on the lead, she's manageable and responds well to training, making basic obedience training essential. If you're ready to give this lovely girl the loving home she deserves, please apply to come and meet Panda today!
Medical notes
HIP DEGENERATION
What is the problem? A flattened femoral head and degeneration of hip joint was diagnosed. This can be a common condition in larger dogs. It can be caused by abnormal development of the hip joints, where the “ball” and “socket” of the joint do not fit as well together as they should. Over time this leads to abnormal movement of the joint and resultant degenerative joint disease, or osteoarthritis. This is being managed without meds
