About Wilbur
Meet Wilbur, an adorable 4-year-old male Chihuahua with a heart yearning for love and understanding. While he may be small in stature, he possesses a big personality that's just waiting to shine with the right family. This charming little fellow is a bundle of potential, ready to blossom in an environment that caters to his unique needs.
Wilbur is a sweet soul who has a tendency to express his nervousness and excitement through barking. He is still learning the ropes of walking on a lead, but with some patience and gentle guidance, he will definitely get the hang of it. While he may be a bit fussy around other dogs, Wilbur doesn't seem bothered by cats. With some structured introductions, he will definitely learn to make friends with fellow canines.
Though a little nervous at first, Wilbur warms up to both men and women when given time to build trust. As a nervous boy, he might exhibit signs of fear aggression initially, but he responds well to gentle reassurance and consistent routines. What he truly needs is a quiet and patient home where he feels safe, and his true affectionate nature can come to the forefront.
Wilbur is searching for a nurturing environment where his personality can truly shine. With your love and commitment, this lovely little Chihuahua has endless potential to be a devoted and charming companion. If you're ready to offer a serene, loving home to Wilbur, your heart will be amply rewarded with his trust and loyalty.
Medical notes

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
