About Cookie
Hi, my name is Cookie. I’m a three-year-old American bulldog x.
I love to be included and be part of the family. I love walks and won't really pull, sometimes I get a little excited but you can tell me 'no' and I'll continue on. I’m toilet trained, and I’m super smart and intelligent. I love to show off all my tricks. I know how to sit, stay, lay, shake, hi-five, wait, release on 'yes', go to my 'bed'. Plus I can fetch, find, and catch the ball for you. I’m an excellent watchdog. But most of all I’m also a big snuggles bug. I love to give a lot of kisses and hugs. If you let me, I would love nothing more than to cuddle up in your lap (never mind I'm not really lap dog size).
I am a bit shy when it comes to strangers but once you let them inside our home and introduce me, I'll warm up and give them kisses as well. I’m easily pleased and easy-going. My foster mum says I'm one of the best, most well behaved fosters she's ever had.
Another big plus about me is I do get along with cats and others dogs. I love making new friends of all shapes and sizes.
I’m looking for a home with an active couple or single companion or a family with older dog savvy children.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
