Meet Macaroni Bob,
Macaroni Bob is fine for first time cat owners. He is a gentle and sweet boy who may be a little shy at first. Macaroni is very friendly, often purring as soon as he sees you. He's a happy boy who becomes very social once he gets to know you & it doesn't take him long to warm up to new people.
Macaroni Bob is a good fit for people who live in a calm & quiet home as he is a bit sensitive to noise.
Macaroni is best suited to kids that are 5 years & up. He is very affectionate & loves to engage with you, but older kids on the quieter side would be a great fit for him.
Macaroni Bob loves being picked up, carried & cuddled In addition to this, Macaroni also loves to be patted and loves his cheeks being scratched. He will happily bunt you with his head, often trying to direct your hand to his ears, cheeks & whiskers. To show you how content he is, he will roll over & drool.
Macaroni Bob is not suitable to live with dogs, they scare him.
We feel that Macaroni Bob would be able to co-exist and make cat friends in no time providing that the introduction is slow so that he can get used to his new home & any new feline friends. But in saying this, Macaroni really loves all attention on him, so he would also be fine as the sole cat in the home too.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Macaroni Bob may be a little too sensitive for outside living due to the noise. Plus, if he is outside, it will increase his chances of running away, getting lost, injured or worse. As an inside only cat he can be safe & sound & live his best life.
Macaroni Bob has low energy levels – we rarely see him play but that's not to say that he doesn't want to play. He'll happily engage with toys like feather or string toys. He'll gently bat them around his condo.
Macaroni is usually a quiet, but he does like to chat here & there. You’ll often hear him chirp at you through his condo door in anticipation of human interaction.
Macaroni Bob is not fussy with his food. He loves all food types & cat treats, and he is also very clean as he always uses his litter tray.
Staff Comments: Macaroni Bob is a very sweet & gentle boy that wants to be loved & cuddled. He would be the perfect additional to quiet household & would make an excellent lap cat.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.

The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
