Meet Rocco!

A young Kelpie with the heart and wisdom of an old soul.

Though a year and a half, he carries himself with a calm demeanor that's far beyond his years. His gentle nature makes him a perfect companion. But don't let him fool you, Rocco is still a high-energy dog at his core, true to his Kelpie roots. He's quick, smart, and loves to have a job to do.

Rocco's ideal home would be with active dog owners (12 years+) who can keep him engaged mentally and physically. He'd do best in a home where he can get plenty of outdoor time. He has been okay with his doggo pals here at the shelter, but prefers a calm dog who just wants to sniff around with him and go on walks. He may be okay sharing a home with a doggo similar to him pending a meet & greet.
