Meet Lady, a lovely 5-month-old German Shepherd puppy who came to the shelter through no fault of her own and is now ready to find her forever home! Lady is eager to learn and will need basic puppy training along with ongoing socialization to build her confidence with new experiences. She's making progress with lead training and enjoys meeting new people and dogs, although she takes a bit of time to feel fully comfortable. With her gentle and sensitive nature, Lady would thrive in a home with breed experience and may suit older, dog-savvy children. She would also benefit from the support and guidance of a well matched adult male dog in the home. She hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets. Ready to welcome this sweet pup into your family? Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
