About Lacey
Meet Lacey, a lovely 9-year-old female Labrador whose heart is as golden as her coat. This sweet, affectionate lady adores people and craves the warmth of human companionship. Her gentle and submissive nature makes her a delightful presence in any home.
Lacey is a social butterfly among dogs and has displayed a friendly demeanor. While she's unsure around cats, she has shown that she can be good with them given the right introduction. She's the type of dog who thrives surrounded by friends, both furry and human. On a typical day, Lacey enjoys leisurely strolls and walks well on a leash. Though she loves her adventures, she's more about the journey than the speed, taking her time to sniff and explore her surroundings.
Not only does Lacey have an endearing personality, but she also has a vulnerable side. She's shown some signs of separation anxiety when left alone, so she would thrive in a household with another dog to keep her company or with someone who is home often. With her tender heart and loving eyes, Lacey yearns for an environment where love abounds and cuddles are plentiful.
If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to share your home and heart, Lacey could be the furry friend you’ve been searching for. She promises a lifetime of snuggles and camaraderie – all she needs is a place to call home.
Medical notes
At the time of desexing, Lacey had a dental scale and clean with one incisor extracted.
Also observed, malassezia otitis which had been treated with topical tx twice daily for the recommended time frame of 7 days. Seborrhea/dermatitis - recommend medicated wash. Benign polyp found base of left ear - to monitor.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
