Hi, I'm Kody!

I’m an affectionate and active dog who loves being around people and other dogs. I enjoy cuddles, belly rubs, and playing with a ball — though I’m not great at giving it back! I’m content to relax at my carer’s feet while they go about their day.

I walk well on the lead and only pull when I’m excited. I might bark a little when I see another dog or meet someone new. Loud cars can make me nervous, so I’ll appreciate it if you walk between me and the road to help me feel more secure.

I’m a quiet car passenger and enjoy any outing or adventure. I’ve also recently discovered swimming and love jumping into the pool with my friends. If they forget to invite me, I may just hop over the fence to join them!

I’m happy sleeping indoors or outdoors and I’m not a fussy eater. I do have a strong prey drive, so I’m not suited for a home with small pets like rabbits or chickens.

I’m smart, a quick learner and already know some basic commands. With a little consistency, I’ll make a great companion for the right person or family.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
