Chesta is a true people-lover, always keen to make new friends. He is quiet, barking only occasionally, making him a pleasant addition to any household. To keep him content and healthy, Chesta enjoys regular walks and activities. During outings, he loves greeting both humans and fellow dogs, showcasing his friendly nature.

While Chesta doesn’t have a specific favorite toy, he absolutely loves playing fetch. Toss a toy, and you’ll see him joyfully chase after it. His love for walks is matched only by his affection for daily cuddles, making him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys both active and relaxing moments.

Chesta enjoys human company and looks like he will be an immensely loyal dog to his new owner Chesta can be a bit tentative when new people visit his home, but he quickly warms up. He has interacted with small children without any issues, displaying a gentle demeanor around them. Chesta also loves a good belly rub and enjoys lounging on his bed indoors with his human companions.

Chesta takes an interest in all dogs. He has a friendly demeanor. He has had a playdate with another dog and seems pretty much unfazed hanging out with them. He can be a little protective over food with other dogs so for that reason we feel he’s best suited as an only dog

Chesta is well-trained and obedient. He sits on command, shakes hands with both paws, and usually drops when asked. He patiently waits while sitting for his breakfast, although he can be a bit less responsive at dinner time.

Chesta walks well on a harness and is improving on a regular lead. He tends to pull when wildlife like rabbits, or wombats are nearby, but he is generally fine with other dogs we encounter on our walks. He is more comfortable around big dogs and can be a bit wary of smaller ones, though he never shows aggression. Chesta has been tested with another dog and is happy to walk side by side. He can at times be protective over his food, so we feel he is best suited as an only dog.

Chesta is comfortable being on his own during the day. According to our neighbors, he only barks when the dogs next door are barking. Otherwise, he is happy playing or napping outside.
He loves being outdoors but prefers to sleep inside on the couch. Chesta is a laid-back kind of guy and has shown no destructive traits while in care.

Chesta is fully toilet trained and has never had an accident indoors. He toilets before bed and will sleep until morning without an issue.

Car Travel
Chesta loves a car ride.

Chesta LOVES a good daily walk so if you are not keen on a walk then his probably not the right dog for you
. He also enjoys chasing the ball around the yard, so he would love a teenager who would enjoy playing fetch with him.

Chesta is polite inside the home and is content to sit or lie on his bed. He likes to move from his mat to the couch for sleep and stays there for the night.

Chesta is a very loyal dog who picks his special person. Let’s hope that’s you !! In an ideal world, Chesta would thrive in a home with someone who has the time to walk him regularly as this is his all time favorite activity other than cuddles Chesta needs someone who will love him unconditionally, as he is a truly special dog. Our foster carer has fallen in love with this special boy, saying, “It’s hard to put into words just how wonderful he is.” He deserves a home with someone who will appreciate his unique qualities and cherish him for the remarkable companion he is.
