About Frank
Frank is a young, energetic, and smart dog looking for his forever home!
With his playful personality and eagerness to please, he's the perfect addition to an active family. He thrives on mental and physical stimulation, making him an ideal companion for outdoor adventures, games of fetch, and training sessions.
Frank is a loving and affectionate pup who adores being around people. He's friendly with children and has a gentle nature, making him a great fit for families.
Frank has a solid foundation in basic commands but would benefit from extra training to channel his energy and intelligence. He's eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement, so he'll thrive in an environment where consistent training and structure are provided.
This gorgeous boy would do well in a multi dog home and with a slow introduction its possible that Frank might even enjoy having feline friends around! He can adapt to different living situations.
If you're looking for a smart, loving companion who will fill your home with joy and energy, Frank is the dog for you! Consider meeting him and see if you're the right match for this wonderful pup, you will not be disappointed.
To book a meet and greet with Frank please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
