About Oscar
Meet the Incredibly Handsome Oscar.
This beautiful boy is just a year old and comes with a fancy designer tag – as you all know we leave such tags at the door in our Village 😊
For those who care about such things he is a Standard Poodle x GSD X Husky.
For those that don’t, let’s get down to the interesting stuff.
Oscar is a medium sized dog – currently a little underweight at around 18kg, we think 20kg would be perfect.
He is tall, slight and hairy so can appear bigger than he is.
He is a sweet and gentle boy, very affectionate and well mannered.
Yes, he still has puppy spurts of silliness and to be honest we would like to see more of those – he is still just a baby and there is a lot of fun still to be had.
Oscar is not an anxious dog, but he is cautious when first put in a new situation.
He has taken a couple of days to completely settle in his new foster home but is now as relaxed as can be.
Ho new owner should expect a few barks on first meet and possibly for the first couple of days if he isn’t expecting you there and popping to the toilet at 2am can be a loud experience.
His bark is big (which is great for scaring away nasty burglars) but his body is always soft and friendly.
He will not bark unless there is a reason and won't have you in any trouble with the Neighbours !
He is dog friendly but not full on.
He is currently in care with 2 older dogs and is really respectful of their boundaries, we have also had him with a younger dog, and he was soon engaging in some beautiful rough and tumble.
Oscar loves car rides and adores being out an about seeing the world.
He is a dog that will enjoy family outings and is such a well-behaved boy, he will be a joy to have along.
He really loves his food and is a smart boy so training is a breeze.
He is house trained and has all his basic manners down pat.
Oscar is an affectionate dog and needs a home that wants a dog to be part of the family, he loves a sofa cuddle and will even sneak on the bed given half a chance.
He has been left alone with two other dogs and slept the whole time – he also slept through a big storm which is a great result.
Oscar has spent time with young children and has been an absolute sweetheart.
He will be a great family dog for dog savvy youngsters (remember that initial nervous bark will happen )
Oscar is not cat tested.
His coat is soft and will need regular brushing and occasional grooming.
Oscar is located in Strathpine (North Brisbane) and his adoption fee is $795.
Oscar is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested and is up to date with all his flea / worm treatments.
If you would like to meet Oscar, please send us a detailed message telling you all about yourself and the amazing life he could share with you.
