About 10862 - B'elana
🐦🎀 MEET B'ELANA 🎀🐦
Hi, I’m B'elana, Larna for short!
Nature
Just over a year ago, I was dumped in a tiny birdcage with four others — cold, scared, and drenched by one of Perth’s biggest storms. We were part of a hoarder’s spillover, and when there was no more room, we were thrown away like we didn’t matter.
I’ll admit, when I first came into care, I had a few ‘quirks’ directly related to my early experiences. The world had taught me to be wary. But with patience and love, my Foster Mum has helped me grow into a “normal” cat - her words, not mine! I’m even learning to play with her, something I never imagined myself doing just a few months ago.
I adore company and will happily curl up on your lap or beside you especially if there are head and neck scratches involved. I love those. My purr is soft and sweet, a little thank-you for your kindness. At night, I’ll be by your side, and sometimes you might feel a gentle paw reach out — just to remind you that I’m here.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would best be suited to a mature home with adults or teens, no small children please.
I may look like any other cat, but I’ve had to fight for every bite of food and every inch of space. Nothing was ever truly mine - not a toy, not a blanket, not even peace. Because of that, I don’t want to share my world with other cats. I’ve dealt with enough cats to last a lifetime. Now, I just want to feel safe, to stretch out without fear, and to have a human who sees me - just me - and says, “you’re home.”
I'm untested with dogs but I may tolerate a cat-savy dog.
