Gidgee is a charming 6-month-old Neapolitan Mastiff who already embodies the grace and intelligence of her breed, combined with a heart full of love. With her big brown eyes, and affectionate nature, she's the kind of dog that makes everyone around her smile.

While she may still be a puppy, Gidgee's calm demeanour and gentle spirit make her an excellent companion for families, couples, or individuals looking for a loyal and loving friend. She’s got a strong, sturdy build, but don’t let her size fool you – she’s a big softie at heart. Gidgee is still growing into her body and will need a family committed to consistent training and socialization to help her become the best adult she can be.

Personality:
Gidgee is the perfect blend of playful and relaxed. At 6 months old, she has enough energy to enjoy daily walks, playtime, and a game of fetch, but she also knows how to chill out with the family, content to lie beside you as you watch TV or read a book. Her gentle nature makes her great with kids, and she enjoys socializing with other dogs, especially those with a calm, easy-going temperament. She has picked up on basic training in foster care and is eager to please if there is a treat on offer

She’s still learning the ropes of potty training and crate training, but she’s incredibly intelligent and eager to please, so she picks things up quickly with a bit of guidance. Gidgee is also food motivated, which makes training sessions a lot of fun and rewarding.

What Gidgee Needs:
Gidgee would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of attention, daily exercise at the moment she enjoys short walks as she still learning that the world is not that scary, and love. While she’s still a puppy, she’s growing fast, and it's important that her new family is prepared for a large breed dog and understands their unique care requirements. Neapolitan Mastiffs are known for their loyalty and bond with their families, and Gidgee is no exception. She’ll want to be near her people, whether it’s playing in the yard, lounging on the couch, or simply being your constant companion.

A secure yard is a must for this girl, as she will need room to stretch her legs and play. She will also benefit from basic obedience classes to help her learn good manners and grow into the well-behaved giant she’s destined to become.
