About McCauley
***** To apply for McCauley please visit our website at www.animalrescue.org.au to complete the Adoption Enquiry Form *****
McCauley is a bit of a smooch, he absolutely adores pats and cuddles. His favourite thing is to be picked up onto your shoulder for a whole body hug and he will happily fall asleep in this position.
He loves attention so much that if he feels he is missing out he will yap to get your attention back to him.
McCauley loves sleeping at someone's feet, either on the bed or on the floor next to the bed.
He interacts very well with children and will be an ideal family dog. He thoroughly enjoys attending the school pickups and soaks up all the cuddles from the other school children. He was probably never walked on lead previously, so is still learning the ropes in regards to this, however, with consistent positive rewards and time, he will certainly achieve this easily.
McCauley is also still working on his toilet training, he is now desexed, so hopefully this should enable him to pick this up quickly. He is still a little cautious of going down the stairs and also going through the doggy door. Nice easy access to outside is definitely preferred for this little guy.
McCauley's ideal home:
* Filled with endless pats and cuddles
* Would love to have some children of his own
* A friendly playful doggy companion would be wonderful but not essential
* Easy outdoor access and a fenced backyard
* Must sleep inside
