About Mario
Time has arrived for Mario (Super Mario) to start looking for a devoted and well equipped home that can cope with this full of life attitude and personality pup.
Mario is a 16 week old Staffordshire Bull terrier x Border Collie. He arrived in our care close to death from malnutrition on 12 September 2024. This boy is a real fighter and he survived (we really thought he wouldn't make it) and since then he has embraced life.
Mario entered our care at 1.43kg and yesterday he tipped the scales at 8.4kg. He is now the biggest of his litter.
Mario is all staffy - bold, with a quirky nature (he still has a conversation with his food before he consumes it), active and 100% snuggle butt!
Mario is in care with other dogs, horses, sheep, chickens and cats. Mario is still a challenge around the cats, but great with the other animals. Mario is in his mouthing, nipping stage so a home with older children if fine. He is not suitable for a home with toddlers.
Mario is one special boy, so it is essential we find the right home for him. He is toilet trained and crate trained for sleeping at night and nap times during the day (due to being a puppy and still needing good rest).
Mario is flea and worm treated, had 2 vaccinations (requires another booster in 1 month) desexed and microchipped. Mario's adoption fee is $750.00.
To find out more about Mario and if he is a match for your home please email us a phoenixarh@outlook.com and tell us a bit about your family and the home you can offer Super Mario.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
