About Lily STA012784
Meet Lily, an absolutely gorgeous young lady with a captivating charm and a gentle soul. Though she’s a little scared of the world, there's a sweetness to her presence that draws you in, making her a truly unique addition to the right home. Lily is searching for a very special human who can help her blossom into the confident and trusting lady we know she's capable of becoming.
Lily would thrive in a quiet and calm household where routine and patience are abundant. Her perfect match will be someone who understands the importance of building trust and offering unwavering love as she navigates her new environment. Indoor life will be the best fit for her sensitive nature, providing her with a safe haven where she feels secure.
An important key to helping Lily settle in is the companionship of a fellow confident feline friend. Having another feline around will provide her with the guidance and reassurance she needs to adjust and feel at home. Young children and dogs, however, would not be ideal companions for Lily, as she requires a more tranquil atmosphere to thrive.
If you're an experienced cat lover ready to offer a nurturing and patient home, Lily fills the role of a devoted friend in return.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
