Nala

Nala has a bubbly personality and is always excited to greet you when you come through the door. Her love language is food and quality time.

She is always eager to play fetch, go for walks and play tugging games. Due to her love of food, she is highly teachable and easy to please.

Nala loves a game of hide and seek, using her amazing sense of smell to find you. While she has lots of energy to burn, she is also happy to relax with you in the living room while you watch tv. She loves to be close to the ones she loves.

Nala is best suited to a family that is experienced with dogs and has the time to continue her training. Nala has lived in a single pet home but may be compatible with another large-sized dog.

Nala’s Current Skills

-ques she knows- sit, wait, stay, leave it, drop and shake, on your mat.

-recall in home environment

Things Nala is working on

– recall outside of the home. Nala has an amazing nose and is often distracted by smells and her natural instincts(excitement). Her new home will need a secure backyard.

– Regulating her excitement. Nala may playfully bark and jump at dogs on walks depending on the other dogs’ temperament. Nala is a social being and wants to play with everyone she encounters. For this reason, she will need to be on a leash when walking. When meeting new people at home Nala will need support to calm and regulate before being petted by guests.

Things Nala does not like

– having her nails clipped. May have been clipped too deep by her previous owner. Vet recommends regular walks on concrete

– Getting wet. She will go to a dog wash at a pet shop but may need some convincing.

Nala is an intelligent, friendly, pretty lady who is full of character and love for her people.
