About Diesel
Diesel is a beautiful and majestic young dog, who will make a great companion and best mate for the right person or home.
Diesel is very intelligent and bright.
He has a strong personality and can be high energy at times.
Diesel will need an owner who can proactively satisfy his emotional needs for him to be relaxed and happy in a new home.
For Diesel to be peaceful and content in a new home, he would require daily walks and obedience training, to keep him mentally stimulated and in a passive state.
Diesel would require an experienced and confident leader who can set boundaries when required to keep him relaxed and respectful.
A single dog home would be recommend to give him the best chance at settling in and bonding with his new owners.
Diesel could fit into a home with another dog if the owners were capable of creating a structured routine of daily walking and training and had seperate housing for each dog when unsupervised to begin with.
Diesel has had some nervous reactions around other dogs in the past, he has since being having lots of positive experiences and building confidence around new dogs.
Although it would still be recommended to keep distance from other dogs when out on a walk and avoid trying to socialise him with new dogs when he is fresh into a new home.
When Diesel’s needs have been met, he is a very relaxed and beautiful dog to be around, he is a massive sook, loves affection and quite happy to relax for the rest of the day and only wants to roll around on the grass in the sun and have lots of cuddles.
Diesel is currently available for adoption in NSW, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making him a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet him. Should he, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing him back to Sydney or helping us rehome him from your home.

We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
