About Harley
Meet our sweet sweet girl Harley.
This beautiful girl has endured more cruelty, neglect & abuse than you ever want to think of. She was starved for a prolonged period of time to the point where she was completely emaciated. We can only imagine the horrors she had to live through, the constant hunger & the appalling conditions that she was forced to live in.
And yet.... Harley has the sweetest nature, the biggest heart. Here at the Bundy shelter, we utterly adore her. She has such a forgiving nature that all she wants is to press herself up to her favourite humans for a snuggle. She loves nothing more than being close, feeling safe & secure with the people that she trusts.
Harley is still gradually putting on weight & has a way to go before she is at a normal weight. With several small meals a day she has been gaining it at a safe rate. She loves her food!
Harley walks regularly with other dogs & puppies & enjoys their company, but we feel that she needs to be the only dog in the household due to her history. She needs to know that when she is eating, no one is going to try & take her food away. Other dogs around may make her feel the need to watch out for her bowl!
Harley walks beautifully on her harness & loves heading out for daily walks. After which, she settles in her pen with a tasty snack or frozen Kong.
Harley has a beautiful energy about her. She has a very loving vibe that makes you want to curl up with her & let her know that everything from now on will be fine. She deserves the absolute best & most loving home. She must be allowed to live indoors with her family, given the comfiest of beds & the best tucker! She will repay you with more love than you could possibly hope for.
Our beautiful Harley girl, is she the one for you?
