About π Franklin 5629 π
Franklin is a confident, people-loving cat who prefers to be the only pet in the home. He forms strong bonds with his human companions and is best suited to someone looking for a solo pet with a big personality.
Franklin is a large cat with a strong presence and an adventurous streak. He enjoys spending time outdoors and would benefit from a secure outdoor enclosure or cat run, where he can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine safely.
He's affectionate and enjoys being around peopleβwhether you're reading, relaxing, or just going about your day, Franklin will likely be nearby, keeping you company.
Franklin has previously had access to roam freely outdoors and has shown some inappropriate toileting while in our care. We're currently working to understand his needs and find the right environment to support him.
He would do best in a secure, pet-free home where his space and preferences are respected. In return, heβll offer loyal companionship and plenty of character.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
Two stories to show you what happens to our furbabies and how they become to be adopted.
1. Cats are impounded at the Shelter/Pound
2. During the first stage the friendly staff interact with the cats, clean their pens and assess them. They fill out daily observation charts. Feliway spray is used in the pens to help calm the cats, settle and prevent stress. Music is also used in their room. All our cats are fed a high quality diet and provided alternative foods for special requirements.
3. The Shelter team will exhaust every available avenue in attempts to locate animal owners, including but not limited to:
o scanning for microchips and posting on the lost page of the Shireβs website.
o letters are sent to identified owners
o rangers attend properties where owners cannot be contacted.
o we network with the Lost Dogs Home, RSPCA and other council organisations to search their records for identified animals.
4. Identified potential owners are offered opportunities to view our impounded cats to confirm
